Copper Clad Steel

Copper-covered steel, as the name suggests, is a copper-covered steel wire, that is, a composite wire with a copper layer wrapped around the steel wire. Copper-covered steel wire adopts advanced cladding welding manufacturing technology, and the high-quality copper strip is centrally covered on the outer surface of the steel rod or steel wire and other core wires, and a solid atomic metallurgical bond is formed between the copper layer and the core wires. The two different metal materials are combined into an inseparable whole, which can be drawn and annealed as a single metal wire is processed, and the copper and steel are reduced in proportion during the drawing process, and the volume ratio of the copper layer remains relatively constant.
