Due to the high chemical stability of metal nickel, some chemical equipment is also commonly used with thicker coating to prevent corrosion by the medium. Nickel plating layer is also widely used in functional aspects, such as repairing worn, corroded parts, using brush plating technology for local plating. The electroforming process is used to manufacture electroforming plates, record molds and other molds for the printing industry. The thick nickel plating layer has good wear resistance and can be used as a wear-resistant coating. Especially in recent years, composite plating has been developed, which can deposit composite nickel coating with wear-resistant particles, and its hardness and wear resistance are higher than that of nickel plating. If graphite or fluorinated inks are used as dispersed particles, the nickel-graphite or nickel-fluorinated inks composite coatings obtained have good self-lubricating properties and can be used as lubricating coatings. Black nickel coating is also widely used as the coating of optical instruments or decorative coating.
4, the application of nickel plating is very wide, can be used as a protective decorative coating, on the surface of steel, zinc die casting, aluminum alloy and copper alloy, to protect the base material from corrosion or play a bright decorative role; It is also often used as an intermediate coating of other coatings, on which a thin layer of chromium is plated, or a layer of imitation gold is plated with better corrosion resistance and more beautiful appearance. In terms of functional applications, nickel plating on parts in special industries is about 1~3mm thick, which can achieve the purpose of repair. Especially in the continuous casting mold, electronic component surface mold, alloy die-casting mold, complex shape aerospace engine components and micro electronic components manufacturing more and more widely.
5, in electroplating, because electroplating nickel has many excellent properties, its processing volume is second only to electrogalvanizing, and its consumption accounts for about 10% of the total nickel production.

5, do not need the general electroplating required DC motor or control equipment.
6, the heat treatment temperature is low, as long as it is below 400℃ after different holding time, different corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be obtained, therefore, it is especially suitable for the functional coating of parts with complex shapes and surface requirements for wear and corrosion resistance
